Often “pressure washing“ and “power washing” are used interchangeably. However, these exterior cleaning services do have a key difference. Both may use pressure to clean surfaces but power washing also includes hot water to clean. Ninety percent of the time when a company cleans your home they are using pressure washing and softwashing methods to clean. Power washing using hot water is usually only used to remove heavy grease and oil stains, melt gum, and remove paint. Customers may request hot water or power washing for an additional charge to help remove some stains on driveways or other surfaces.
